The Bloodwalker

Legend

A red sun rises. Blood has been spilled this night. Smoke columns dance like crimson snakes in the sky above the town, while embers still glow in the heart of the devastation. The pavement is a tapestry painted by violence and rage, and light reverberates with sanguine hues against its surface. It is a scene of quiet brutality, the current silence like the mute echo of yesterday’s cacophonous rampage. Amongst the blood and carnage walk a lonely figure, taking in this vision of perfect annihilation.

The red cultist moved quietly in this newly created unholy site, their red-stained armor soaking in the last droplets of tonight’s battle. This raid, this destruction, it was an offering, a well-planned sacrifice made by the sword and the axe.Their god needed no temple, for ruins were its domain. At the center of the destroyed town throned its altar, an ephemeral totem built with the remains of the vanquished. The cultist sheeted their blade, and with their newly freed hand, they climbed the macabre pile, finally adding to its peak one last skull, its empty sockets staring at the rising dawn.

Description

This full armor set is made of handcrafted vegetable leather, dyed red, sanded, and with a full aging patina that gives it a rugged and worn-out finish. Highly modular, the pauldrons, headpiece, breastplate, and belt are all available in multiple variations, providing an unmatched level of customization for one of our standard products. Covered in cuts and battle damage, this medieval armor looks like the blood-stained gear of some vampire knight, demonic warlord, or chaos warrior, making it a great choice for dark fantasy characters in LARP. Molded skulls can even be added to the pauldrons and belt to reinforce this grim theme.

The head is covered by a sinister leather hood which is fixed directly on the armor with laces so it cannot slip or spin, while also displaying leather counterweights on the front to keep the hood in place. The back of the hood is doubled to keep the volume that makes this piece so impressive, but without letting the wearer's head sink too deep inside, something that could be fairly detrimental in combat otherwise. Furthermore, a leather mask can be worm over the mouth to complete this costume.

The breastplate covers the torso and leaves the stomach exposed. This short version of the armor makes moving easy and give the armor a comfortable fit. The whole piece is adjusted with thick leather straps on the back. The body armor also supports the pauldrons, which may support the characteristic skulls of a chaos cultist.

The combat belt is a wide and imposing piece with a double set of belts as well as metal rings that can be used to hold armored tassets or various flesh trophies and accessories. Long pieces of supple leather hang from the belt, a battle skirt of sort that lengthens the figure and add some flare to the character when in motion. The belts can also carry all the classic gear needed in LARP such as a scabbard or the matching pouch available with this set.

The full armor also includes a pair of greaves and bracers. Combined with a pair of articulated partial gauntlets, it gives some serious limb protection for this set. All these pieces are attached with adjustable straps and display the same crimson finish as the rest of the armor. Because of the red patina and the voluntary use of imperfect hides to craft these sets, each armor is guaranteed to have subtle unique features, natural skin texture and scars enhancing the final product with details that cannot easily be imitated by the artisan.
